Our Yiddish Open Mic Café runs approximately once a month. These online events draw participants and listeners from across the Yiddish-speaking world to share songs, poetry, stories and more in Yiddish, with Yiddish and English texts on the screen. Details of our next event are below:

This month’s theme: Bandits and Bawdiness
Special Guest: Abraham Lichtenbaum, longtime Yiddish teacher and director of the IWO Foundation in Buenos Aires.
To perform or join the audience, please register here.
We invite old and new performers to participate, on the theme or not. Please send your presentations of up to 6 minutes in PowerPoint (preferably) or Word, in both Yiddish (oysyes if possible, or transliteration) and English translation to openmic@yiddishcafe.com by Monday 3 November.
We are happy to translate your material or transcribe it in oysyes. We will need at least a week, please.
